TRUSTiCERT is an independent SME acting as regulatory and scientific partner in the development of the e-cig sector as a healthier alternative to smoking. Its highest objective is to support the diffusion of new technologies able improve health and wellness.
Trusticert’s roots are in the University, where since 2012 the founder and CEO Emanuele Ferri has been coordinating a team of researchers to study the scientific aspects relating to e-cig, from the environment impact to the inhalator toxicology of vapours. In the following years, an evolving regulatory landscape makes the team growing and acquiring new skills, while outlining into different departments, finally founding TRUSTiCERT. The founders of the start-up, with University background, devote their resources and energies in R&D and in the relationship with international authorities in supply their partners with the best technological and regulatory support.
Today Trusticert is composed by six departments with eight Ph. D. in strategic positions.
The customer support department guides the customer towards compliance thanks to a dedicated assistant who is responsible for coordinating all the processes related to products, following the deadlines and acting as a qualified referent for each request to and from the relevant Authorities.
The regulatory department guarantees an in-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape, which enriches by conducting a regular dialogue with the relevant institutions to know in advance its evolutions.
The scientific department supplies precious and competent assistance in several areas: from the issue of a specific toxicological dossier for e-liquids ingredient, to the identification of hazardous components, to the evaluation of the health impact through in vitro and in silico analyses according to the modern 3R and Tox21 paradigms.
The IT department develops automatized data management systems, data elaboration and data transfer through high security and controlled processes. It also carries out in a complete safety and privacy for the operation of electronic parts.
Marketing and Communication department makes available its own experience to create websites, blog or social pages/promotional campaigns for making the population known about complex technical and scientific aspects, in order to spread the safety and quality aspects of customers’ products.
The R&D department develops intellectual properties and transfers technology and innovation to the best branch companies.
The strong synergy between the different departments allows us to guide customers in the compliance with TPD-II, through the notification process, and with CLP, in an efficient, complete and coordinated way.
Several agreements with certified laboratories allow us to benefit from the most advanced technologies to completely satisfy the requirements imposed by the actual legislation landscape.
Thanks to prestigious collaborations with international research institutes we draw on the most advanced expertise in chemistry and toxicology, to make them available to companies wishing to be at the vanguard in the sector.
Trusticert is UNI Effective Member (social code 169929) and therefore contributes to the construction of the technical standards of the electronic cigarettes and refill liquids sector.
One of our experts takes part in the Technical CommissionUNI/CT 042/GL67, the Technical Commission CEN/TC 437 and the Technical Commission ISO/TC 126/SC 3.
